This past weekend at Fight to Win Pro 23, Kim Terra, Vitor Paschoal, Ranato Tagliari, Ryan Walsh, Benji Silva, Guthierry Barbosa and Andy Tomas all competed. The night started off with an outstanding performance by Ranato, but coming up short in the end by judge decision. The show made a turn for the best as Guthierry went on and grinded his way to another victory, setting the tone for the rest of the night. Andy followed and made short work of his opponent, defending his title and counting to show that he is a force to be reckoned with. Benji took his turn at defending his title, and with another grueling match, came out victorious.

American Nationals 2015
This past weekend was the 2015 American Nationals Gi and No Gi tournament held in Las Vegas. This event is one of the bigger tournaments of the year and always draws the best in the sport. On the first day they held no gi. After several tough matches CTA Athlete Matthew Danna took home silveer. In the adult purple belt division Paulo Martins continued his winning streak winning both his weight and the absolute. In the black belt adult division instructors Kim Terra, Vitor Paschoal, and Kristina Barlaan took home third, second and first respectively! Also returning to competition after a little layoff was Jay Pages. Jay had good matches and ended up taking home a bronze medal!
