Pans Camp 2013 has been phenomenal. It is often said that Jiu Jitsu brings people together and this can be seen at camp. You have people from all over the world, over 10 different associations and gyms represented sharing and coming together because of Jiu Jitsu. Every night we have had more and more black belts on the mat and the atmosphere has been phenomenal.
No matter the outcome of this years pans every one who attended camp, whether they are crowned champions or not are better off for coming. We also had a good portion of participants who aren’t competing come for the training. They said they wanted to do pans but they had a choice, do Pans or come to camp, and they decided to come to camp!! Although we are sad they will not be competing along side us, we are thankful they came and shared the mats with us. There positive energy is refreshing and puts in perspective that jiu jitsu is more than just competition.
