We have not updated the site in awhile but the association is growing. We are pleased to announce our newest affiliate in Perryville Missouri, New Era BJJ (http://www.newerabjj.com/). Adam Casillas, head instructor and owner of the New Era Academy, Caio Terra Team, has trained in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu for about 2 years. He also is a certified instructor in defensive tactics.
Adam teaches and oversees all classes offered at New Era Jiu-Jitsu. His motivation, and positive approach and Military background help him teach students from children to adults. Adam runs the academy in a safe, family friendly environment, with an ego less training style and offers classes throughout the week.
Adam served 8 years in the Navy as a military police officer and instructor. Adam trained personnel in all facets of law enforcement as well as defensive tactics, and anti- terrorism and force protection. He has two overseas tours, which include operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraq freedom. He is married, and has two children.
The Caio Terra association is proud to have Adam on board and we look forward to growing Jiu Jitsu in Missouri!
