The official 2013 Mundial Camp Schedule! Hosted by the Institute of Martial Arts in San Jose, these camps are unlike any other jiu jitsu experience out there with an opportunity to live, train and learn like AND WITH world champions! Schedule is as follows.
** Mundials Training Camp **
*10am – Physical Preparation: Run by Itallo Villardo, most prestigious physical trainer for Martial Arts in Brazil, this class is focused on gaining of strength, endurance and weight loss. This is the only class that is not going to be everyday and it’s time may be changed to earlier as well.
*12pm – Drilling Class: Focused on explosion and recuperation, the drilling class is also used to perfect the muscle memory of the techniques and the feelings most used in BJJ.
*3pm – Camp Training: The Camp Training is the most important rolling session. There is no techniques in this class, only sparring. At the Camp Training you will be doing specific training as well as regular sparring.
*7pm – Camp Group Class: As it’s name already says this is almost like a regular Class. Everyday a new black belt will take over and show a couple techniques to be drilled. The sparring will be focused on resistance and the resting time will also increase as it’s the last class of the day. Participation in any and all of the classes are optional BUT if you start a class YOU CAN NOT STOP OR QUIT THE CLASS unless you are injured or have a serious condition.
