For 16 days the Institute of martial arts in San Jose was host to our official 2013 mundial camp. Top black belts from all over the world as well as other jiu jitsu players came together with one purpose to train and get better. In addition this year we had the help of Italo Vilardo, the official strength and conditioning coach of Felipe Costa and Comprido.
Most days started with a conditioning session at 10 am, followed by a drill session at noon, a comp training at 3pm followed by a light sparring session at night. Although the camp was intense, no one got seriously injured and every one left better. Even the people not competed got something they could take away.
Here are some video’s showing a sample of what the camp was like, enjoy!!
