Last weekend the team headed to Paris for the 2023 European Open Championships. As a team, everyone did exceptionally well, and proud of everyone who made the trip! Majors are difficult and require a lot of sacrifices, and everyone who competed and helped the team are better for it!
Making his black belt debut last weekend was Mason Fowler. Mason competed in a no-gi $25k super tournament a few weeks earlier (in which he won) and only had a few weeks to prepare. As soon as he returned to San Jose, he put his gi on and returned to work.
In his division, mason submitted all but one person on his way to becoming a 2023 European Open champion! He made it to the semi-final rounds in the absolute division before falling short and taking home 3rd. Congrats to Mason and the team, and looking forward to pans!
