Invictus Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Invictus BJJ is a jiu-jitsu academy, located in Suriname South America, which is established in January 2014. This academy is founded by Jurgen Ho. Jurgen Ho is not only the owner, but also the head coach of Invictus BJJ.
Jurgen Ho started this academy with a bright vision to offer the Surinamese people the opportunity to practice this gentle art. His goal was not only to teach self-defense, but also to show how an individual can apply the jiu-jitsu lifestyle in their everyday life.
Caio Terra Association
In 2012 I started the Caio Terra BJJ association and it has been an amazing journey. When we started we had many goals but our guiding principle was that through Jiu Jitsu we would change lives and make the world a better place. I still believe that to this day and am extremely grateful that others feel the same way.
San Jose Open 2017
When I started CTA it was never a goal to have the biggest team, win the most titles or produce world champions. I looked for people who were the right fit and believed that through jiu jitsu we could change lives.
Thats why this past weekend was so special, not because we won the San Jose Open Gi and NoGi titles but because I got to share the experience with so many great people.

Fight to win San Jose
This past weekend at Fight to Win Pro 23, Kim Terra, Vitor Paschoal, Ranato Tagliari, Ryan Walsh, Benji Silva, Guthierry Barbosa and Andy Tomas all competed. The night started off with an outstanding performance by Ranato, but coming up short in the end by judge decision. The show made a turn for the best as Guthierry went on and grinded his way to another victory, setting the tone for the rest of the night. Andy followed and made short work of his opponent, defending his title and counting to show that he is a force to be reckoned with. Benji took his turn at defending his title, and with another grueling match, came out victorious.
2017 Lets go!
It’s been 4 years since we launched the Caio Terra Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association and we have been making waves ever since. In 2016 we won the IBJJF San Jose Open, gi and no gi divisions, the BJJ tour overall trophy (Us Open, American Cup, All star tournament) and placed first at no gi worlds in the masters division!
Ryan Walsh EBI 9
Last weekend Ryan Walsh competed in the 9th edition of the Eddie Bravo Invitational. Ryan trained extremely hard for this event and had to over come some injuries to make it possible. Unfortunately I also competed that same weekend at no gi worlds so I was unable to make it down to help him prepare.
