Last weekend Professor Caio Terra traveled to Roseburg, Oregon to celebrate the grand re-opening of Performance Martial Arts Academy Roseburg. While he was there he awarded Ben Baxter his over due third degree making him Professor Ben Baxter!
Professor Ben has been one of the most influential Jiu Jitsu figures in the Pacific Northwest. In 2007 he made the podium at the mundials/worlds, a feat he repeated in 2008 and 2009! Having placed in just about every major championship from Europeans to Worlds, in 2012 he shifted his focus to teaching. His academy Performance Martial Arts in Eugene and affiliate academy Performance Martial Arts in Roseburg continue to produce some of the regions top talent!
