The BJJ Tour is one of the country’s largest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournaments. Traveling the US and holding tournaments across the states, Northern California is where they call home and hosted their very first tournaments. This year, they held their 1oth American Cup tournament at the Cow Palace in Daly City, CA.
In past years, our team has always done exceptionally well. However, this year, along with the Ralph Gracie team, we dominated the competition in the Juvenile/Adult/Masters divisions. Leading in first with a 44 point spread from the second place team.
Our kids team performed brilliantly. With a smaller team, all of our kids placed and we were still able to sit in the top 10 at 5th with 4 golds, 8 silvers, and 5 bronze medals.
We had many stand outs and many great performances. Too many to mention! Congratulations to all competitors for going out there and doing an excellent job leaving it all out on the mats and leading by example for all of us to follow. Also, we would love to thank all team mates and coaches for your support and guidance. Without you we would not be where we are today! Cheers!
