About the School
Krav Zone in Sunnyvale, is one of the founding members of the Caio Terra Association! Like all of our affiliates, Krav Zone shares our philosophy and belief that through martial arts we can make a positive impact in the lives of others and our community.
Shlomi Katz, the owner of Krav Zone, has been training in martial arts for 28 years! In addition to teaching youth and adults for over 20 years, he also has experience teaching military and law enforcement persona. He served as the Head of Krav Maga and counter terror training in the LOTAR – the Counter Terror School (CTU) of the IDF. All IDF special forces’ fighters are trained in Krav Maga at the LOTAR. Shlomi specializes in bringing new students to a high level of self- defense skills in a short amount of time. In his training center in Israel, he raised hundreds of martial arts students and top Israeli fighters and now is an avid student in the martial art of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
