This past week the Institute of Martial Arts head BJJ instructor and one of the pillars of our association, Osvaldo “Queixinho” Augusto traveled to the east coast to do a seminar and compete in the IBJJF NY Summer International Open. On Wednesday July 10th he visited Rafael “Formiga” Barbosa’s Jiu Jitsu and Strength Academy and conducted a 3 hour the seminar. Every one at the seminar had a lot of good things to take away and it was fun time had by all.
After the seminar he stayed for a little extra training with Formiga before heading to the NY Summer International Open. Queixinho has really been working hard lately and it definitely showed. In the final he met Renan Borges and in the end was the victor. HUGE CONGRATS TO QUEIXINHO, VERY IMPRESSIVE VICTORY!
