In 2019 Ed Hohl, at the request of Professor Caio Terra, moved to San Jose to help run the Caio Terra Academy in San Jose. After a year, in 2020 he left to become the program director at SFBJJ in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood while teaching at San Lorenzo BJJ a few days a week. In 2022 he decided it was time to open his own gym, and the Caio Terra Academy Marin was born!
